Often the students work on projects in pairs or small groups. If the above two are essentially the same, does it mean that math education in DepEd's K to 12 is identical to Singapore math? When tutoring math, it is crucial that the child learn the vocabulary associated with the methods, as this can provide understanding of the problems that are being asked. In the classroom, Marzano et al. (2003) said that it is important to involve students in the design of classroom rules and procedures. Although some schools and independent instructors may develop their own syllabus, in practice, many instructors use a commercially developed syllabus that already has been selected by a school for use in their aviation training program.

The right method used to teach delivers the depth of the subject to the students and does not vanish the interest of the students to learn mathematics subject. Give students small response cards: even/odd, prime/composite, yes/no, area/perimeter and ask students to hold up the correct card to respond to questions.
