Spelling Smartboard Game – Spell words to complete the jokes. Children sit in a circle and recite the verses as a child in the role of naughty Little Rabbit Foo Foo circles the group and then lightly taps one of the children on the head who in turn becomes Rabbit Foo Foo. So, a week later, when one of my cucumbers suffered the same fate, I dug around the roots and sure enough, I found a cut worm. We also pulled out our pack of Color Pens. (These fine point markers are so fun to write with. On unlined paper, the baseline is assumed by the writer. Try writing on child’s back so they have to guess the letter and then the child does this to you. Groups will even compete to see who can find the problem/solution to the stories when they are composed using a conventional story form.
